3. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by STRATO. When the website is accessed, technically necessary data may be processed and stored in server log files, such as IP address, date and time of access, pages accessed, browser type, operating system and referrer URL. This processing is carried out to provide, stabilize and secure the website.

Retention period for log files: According to STRATO, web server data is provided as a ZIP archive for the last six weeks. Any further storage only takes place if this is required for security reasons or due to legal obligations.

4. Contact by form or email
If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the information you provide, such as name, email address, company, phone number and message, solely to handle your enquiry and possible follow-up questions. The data will not be used for advertising purposes without your consent.

5. Contact form via Formspree
We use the external form service Formspree to provide the technical functionality of the contact form. The provider is Formspree, Inc., USA. When you submit the contact form, the data entered in the form as well as technically required metadata, such as time of submission, IP address and browser information, are transmitted to Formspree and then forwarded to us.

The purpose of the processing is to receive and forward your contact enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to pre-contractual measures, and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in reliable and secure processing of website enquiries.

When using Formspree, personal data may be transferred to the United States. According to Formspree, Formspree relies on Standard Contractual Clauses as a data processor. Before publication, please check and complete whether a Data Processing Agreement / DPA has been concluded with Formspree and whether further information from the Formspree contract documents is required.

Depending on the enquiry, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your request relates to pre-contractual or contractual measures, and on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in handling enquiries and operating a secure website.
